HAVE YOU IMPLEMENTED ALL THESE AND YOU SAID THERE IS NO TRAFFIC
Please don’t read this if you are lazy.
When looking at my website statistics some few days ago, I discovered that my website is not receiving enough visits yet (presently stuck at an average of 110 visits a day) so I decided to take some SEO factors into consideration which will be listed here for free. Even though my on-page SEO factors are properly done, these ones are top notch.
HAVE YOU TRIED ALL THESE AND YOU SAID THERE IS NO TRAFFIC:
- Directory submission: This is one of the most effective and overlooked link building strategy. Before we continue, I would like to tell you that if you listen to all the stupid stories you are being told by all those marketers out there who cannot prove themselves well then you can hardly be successful online. Some marketers would tell you that directory submission is not effective; I want to tell you that this is not true. Imagine submitting your links to 3000 web directories in which 2500 gets indexed (even if those websites getting thousands of visitors a day are doing this, I bet they will be getting 10 times the number of their daily visitors), that means over 2500 websites linking to you, if this is effectively done you should be able to get visitors in thousands and tens of thousands on a daily basis. How can I do this effectively you ask? When submitting to directories, the following are to be considered:
- Use variations of keywords as the title e.g. when submitting to directories with a website that has the following title “best blueberries in town”: If you are being asked for the title of your website on “directory A”, use the keyword “best blueberries”, on “directory B” use the keyword “blue blueberries” and on “directory C” use the keyword “blueberries in town”. By rotating your keywords like the ones used above, you should at least be able to rank on number 1 page 1 for less competitive keywords after submitting to 1000 directories.
- Submit to the right category: make sure you submit your website to the right category because I don’t see any value in submitting to a directory in which you will not be accepted. The truth is “submit to the wrong category = no listing”
- Create a new email address that you will be using for the submission process because many of the directories will require confirmation.

- Make use of social bookmarks: we have thousand of social bookmarking sites that you can submit your website to. Because I have written a lot about this I will not write about it again but will advise you to use the search function of this website to get it.
- Press Releases: Make use of press releases. There are so many press release website that you can submit free press releases to, and if you maximize this opportunity by embedding your link in each of your press release(if you forget, just put mine there).
- Online Yellow Pages: This is also a good source of untapped resources; a better means of getting backlinks to your website is by submitting your website to online yellow pages.
- Articles: Also a very good means of getting traffic, article sites and directories if properly used can also give you an increase in backlinks thereby making your site rank higher in search engines.
All these if properly done can give you an increase in traffic, or tell me if you will not get quality traffic from Google and other search engines if you are having over 5000 backlinks: not just that rubbish you see if you type a site name in Google using double quotes e.g. if I am having over 5000 real backlinks for http://www.dataentryforall.net, typing it under Google in the form “www.dataentryforall.net” will bring over a million result which I call the fake results, just try going to the last page and you will see less than 10000 results.
Also, I want you to know that even though dofollow links are good, if you are looking for dofollow links only, you are wasting your time.
PS: I know this information is not detailed because I wrote it in an uncomfortable mode (I just have to do that), but it should at least be able to give you insight into what you need to do.
Also, don’t complain you don’t have traffic again until you have tried acquiring over 1000 backlinks and if you think getting a backlink to a business website from a political website will be good, I will like you to prove yourself by commenting to this post.
